چکیده

Abstract Background Corydalis saxicola Bunting, affiliated with the Papaveraceae Juss., has been proven to work well in anti-inflammation, hemostasis, and analgesia. This study was designed observe effect potential mechanism of Bunting total alkaloids (CSBTA) on paclitaxel-induced peripheral neuropathy (PIPN). Materials methods Rats were injected 2 mg/kg paclitaxel 4 times administrated 30 or 120 CSBTA. Mechanical thermal allodynia hyperalgesia tested. After 40 days, serum collected detect PGE2, TNF-?, IL-1? by ELISA. The L4-L6 segment spinal cord, DRG, plantar skin harvested, Western-blot RT-qPCR analyzed protein gene levels pro-inflammatory cytokines, p38 MAPK, PKC?, TRPV1. PIPN cell model established (300 nM, 5 d) primary DRG neurons. We examined CSBTA (25 ?g/ml 50 ?g/ml) measuring mRNA TNF-? CGRP, expression PKC?/p38 MAPK/TRPV1 signaling pathway model. Results results showed that effectively ameliorated hyperalgesia, regulated cytokines' contents (PGE2, IL-1?) neuropeptides (CGRP SP) different tissues vivo. In addition, significantly decreased cytokine neurons CGRP) expressions vivo vitro. Conclusion Therefore, a perspective therapeutic treatment neuropathy.

Establishment of callus and cell suspension cultures of Corydalis saxicola Bunting, a rare medicinal plant.

An efficient procedure has been developed for callus induction and cell suspension cultures of C. saxicola for the first time. Explant selection was carried out among leaf, stem and root to select a suitable type of explants capable of higher callus formation. Leaf explants thus selected showed maximum response to callus induction (67.1%). Modified B5 medium supplemented with 0.5 mg l(-1) 2,4-D...

paclitaxel is a highly effective anticancer agent. it is active against a broad range of cancers that are generally considered refractory to conventional chemotherapy. paclitaxel induces a peripheral neuropathy (pn) that is characterized by sensory symptoms such as numbness and paresthesia in a glove and stocking distribution. pn may be severe and dose limiting at initial doses above 275 mg/m2....

Pharmacoethnicity in Paclitaxel-Induced Sensory Peripheral Neuropathy.

PURPOSE Paclitaxel is used worldwide in the treatment of breast, lung, ovarian, and other cancers. Sensory peripheral neuropathy is an associated adverse effect that cannot be predicted, prevented, or mitigated. To better understand the contribution of germline genetic variation to paclitaxel-induced peripheral neuropathy, we undertook an integrative approach that combines genome-wide associati...

Prevention of paclitaxel-induced peripheral neuropathy by lithium pretreatment.

Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) is a debilitating side effect that occurs in many patients undergoing chemotherapy. It is often irreversible and frequently leads to early termination of treatment. In this study, we have identified two compounds, lithium and ibudilast, that when administered as a single prophylactic injection prior to paclitaxel treatment, prevent the developme...
